This low-mounding (1-2 feet) perennial is beautiful in woodland or dappled shade to a full-shade setting. Poppies flower in April in our Mid-Atlantic East Coast region, and beautiful poppy seed heads form after flowering. Plants go dormant over the summer. Celandine Poppy plants are a pollen source for many pollinators.
