Golden Rod Plant Roots

Golden Rod is a carefree, sun-loving native perennial that attracts many pollinators. It adapts to many soil conditions and is drought-tolerant. If happy, it will self-seed.

Plants/Roots are second-year plants that will bloom this year. If you request shipment before late April, the plant may only be roots. Once exposed to warmer weather, the plant will start to grow. We can only ship bare-root to CA during winter/early spring.

We can only ship this bare root to Alabama, Arkansas, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Washington, Oregon, and Mississippi (approx late October-early April while plants are dormant.

2nd year plants (3.25" Pots) will be dormant approx. November-April.  After plants will be the size second-year plants are in zone 7.  Small in spring, large in summer.
