New England Asters (Symphyotrichum Novae-Angliae) are fall-blooming herbaceous perennials. Also known as hairy Michaelmas-Dais or Michaelmas daisy. Native to most of the United States on the east side of the Rocky Mountains. Flowers make great cut flowers and are very attractive to pollinators.
