New England Aster
Scientific name: Symphyotrichum novae-angliae
Native to most of the United States east of the Rocky Mountains, including Maryland

Approximately 100 seeds. Seeds will be attached to fluff.

New England Asters are fall-blooming herbaceous perennials, also known as hairy Michaelmas daisy. Flowers make great cut flowers and are very attractive to pollinators.

Germination Notes

Seeds must be cold-stratified for 45 days before sowing. Germination after stratification can take up to an additional 45 days. Contact us if you need guidance on stratification methods.
