Celandine Poppy (Stylophorum Diphyllum) Plants
These roots are 2+ years old and will establish large plants and flowers next Spring.
These will be bare roots from November to February and should grow and flower in the Spring. We can ship them bare-root while dormant (November to February); when actively growing, they will be potted in 3.25" Pots. These plants will be small in March and larger/flowering in late April.
Celandine Poppy is native to the east coast of the United States. This low-mounding (1-2 feet) perennial is beautiful in woodland or dappled shade to a full-shade setting. Poppies flower in April in our Mid-Atlantic East Coast region, and beautiful poppy seed heads form after flowering. Plants go dormant over the summer. Celandine Poppy plants are a pollen source for many pollinators. Plants will self-seed if happy and will go dormant in summer.

Plants are guaranteed to be healthy upon delivery. If you have a question or problem with the plant upon delivery, please message us and include a picture so we can address the issue. Please be respectful and understand that addressing issues and questions is part of our support for our customers. Things happen during shipments that no one can control, but we insure all plants for these issues. After a healthy plant is delivered, we are happy to answer questions, but we cannot be held responsible for the care a plant receives.
