2.5" pots are 1st-year plants and will be at least 4-6" tall when shipped (see picture). They sometimes flower if planted early enough in the season. 1st-year plants should be scheduled to arrive and planted when temperatures are above 32°F.
3.25" Pots are 2nd year plants, which will be dormant approximately November-April. During dormancy in zone 7b, a small set of leaves remains at the base of the plant, and the pot will be full of roots (see picture). Plants planted from late fall through early spring should reach full size and flower the summer they are planted. These plants can be exposed to temperatures below 32°F if scheduled to arrive from November through March in zones 5b-9 and are planted in the ground.
Plants are grown naturally without chemicals.
Can not ship to California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Washington, Oregon, or Mississippi.
Plants will be delivered in the pot sizes listed/selected. The mature plants shown in the pictures are significantly larger than the 2.5"-3.5" pots in which we ship plants. Some plants will flower in these pots, but most do not. Plants flower when they naturally flower for the period they naturally flower. Most flowers do not bloom year-round.
Plants are guaranteed to be healthy upon delivery. If you have a question or problem with the plant upon delivery, please message us and include a picture so we can address the issue. Things can happen during shipments that no one can control, but we insure all plants for these issues. Once a healthy plant is delivered, we are happy to answer questions, but we cannot be held responsible for the care it receives.
