Germination Notes
Start seeds indoors about 6–8 weeks before the last expected frost. Seeds have a very hard seed coat, so germination can sometimes take a while. Sow approximately 1/4 inch deep and keep the mix moist at around 70–80°F (21–27°C). Harden off and transplant after frost danger has passed. Tomatillos commonly need pollen from a genetically different plant for reliable fruit set; grow at least two plants from seed.
Seed collection year: 2026.
