Italian Oregano (Origanum × majoricum) combines oregano and marjoram characteristics and is grown for aromatic foliage used in sauces, roasted vegetables, soups, marinades, and other Mediterranean-style dishes.
Established plants tolerate relatively dry, well-drained conditions. Small pale flowers can provide resources for visiting bees and other pollinators.
