Elegant Purple Spikes That Rebloom All Summer

Verbascum phoeniceum 'Violetta' is a charming perennial that starts as a tidy rosette of leaves before sending up tall, slender spikes of deep purple blooms in late spring and early summer. Cut it back after the first flush, and it will rebloom — making it a long-season performer. The flowers also make excellent cut flowers for arrangements.
