Sucrine du Berry is a delicately textured French heirloom butternut-like squash.
Start seeds in a warm location 4 weeks before planting in peat/compostable pots or direct seed after all chances of frost are passed. Space 18-36 inches apart.
Grow in full sun. Fruits take 100 days to maturity. Fruits grow to 3-5 pounds.
Fruits are long-lasting, listed as 3-6 months; we can store them in a cool place for over a year.
