Tulip Poplar (Liriodendron tulipifera) is a fast-growing native deciduous tree that can become a very large shade tree in suitable sites. Mature trees produce yellow-green, tulip-shaped flowers with orange markings in spring to early summer. The flowers can provide nectar for bees and other pollinators.
