Verbascum Phoeniceum - Violetta (Purple Mullein) Plant
Verbascum Phoeniceum Violetta plants are cute little rosettes of leaves that send up spikes that bloom in a lovely shade of deep purple in early Summer. Plants will rebloom if cut back after the first flush. Make excellent cut flowers.
3.25" Pots are second-year plants, and will not look "spring-time fresh" till April. These plants should flower if planted early enough in late winter/spring.
2.5" Pots are first-year plants that will flower in their second season.
If you would like your order before late April, the plant may have only roots or look as the plants do at the time of delivery in our 7a garden. Plants start to look "spring-time fresh" in April.

Plants will be delivered in the pot sizes listed/selected. The mature plants shown in the pictures are significantly larger than the 2.5"-3.5" pots in which we ship plants. Some plants will flower in these pots, but most do not. Plants flower when they naturally flower for the period they naturally flower. Most flowers do not bloom year-round.
Plants are guaranteed to be healthy upon delivery. If you have a question or problem with the plant upon delivery, please message us and include a picture so we can address the issue. Things can happen during shipments that no one can control, but we insure all plants for these issues. Once a healthy plant is delivered, we are happy to answer questions, but we cannot be held responsible for the care it receives.
