American Elderberry (Sambucus canadensis) trees are native to the United States. Trees grow in the bush from up to 20 feet high. In the spring, trees have delightful scented white flowers that form into dark purple berries in summer. Berries can be cooked into jams and syrups.

Plants are well rooted in 3.25" pots and will be the height selected. Plants will be dormant (no leaves) from November to April.
Can not ship to Alabama, Arkansas, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Washington, Oregon, or Mississippi.
Cannot ship to locations below 40°F or above 85°F (at higher temperatures, the customer should be on-site to bring in the package and unpack the plants right away).
Plants will be delivered in the listed/selected pot sizes. The mature plants shown in the pictures are significantly larger than the 2.5"-3.5" pots in which we ship plants. Some plants will flower in these pots, but most do not. Plants flower when they naturally flower for the period they naturally flower. Most flowers do not bloom year-round.
Plants are guaranteed to be healthy upon delivery. If you have a question or issue with the plant upon delivery, please message us and include a photo so we can address it. Things can happen during shipments that no one can control, but we insure all plants for these issues. After a healthy plant is delivered, we are happy to answer questions, but we cannot be held responsible for the care a plant receives.
