Deep Red Loose-Leaf Lettuce
Merlot Lettuce is a loose-leaf variety with deep burgundy-red leaves and a tender texture. It works well in garden beds and containers and can be harvested by removing outer leaves while allowing the center to continue growing.
Compared with many lettuce varieties, 'Merlot' is known for relatively good heat tolerance, although the best leaf quality is still produced in cool growing conditions.
